MK Dining Overview
The Magic Kingdom theme park has more counter service (quick service) than sit-down table service restaurants.
There is such a large variety that there is something for everyone - even Vegans.
There has been some changes to the restaurants and menus - in true Disney fashion.
There is a new restaurant in Adventureland by the Jungle ride called Skipper's Canteen ($$). Our favorite quick breakfast place, Sleepy Hollow, does not accept the dining plan any longer but it still has great Belgian waffles with Nutella - though I can't understand how a Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich can be classified as a snack.
Be Our Guest will still be one of our most favorite quick service restaurants as we can never seem to get a dinner (table service) reservation.
For great variety and easy food allergies then consider Cosmic Ray's over by Tomorrowland. It's generally pretty busy to dividing and conquering is key. One person orders while the other hold the table and get's the condiments, napkins, and drinks. NOTE: You will find easy food allergy accommodations throughout the Disney World restaurants.
For a hearty traditional home cook meal then consider the Liberty Tree Tavern where the characters are in full Colonial costume. Another favorite for our family is the Columbia Harbor House and their shrimp basket with fries. We like to take a break and sit upstairs by a window to people watch.
